About the Job
Para is looking for a Developer Experience Engineer to own the process of customer integrations. This role will be responsible for proactively understanding the needs of our target developers from a feature and experience perspective, translating these needs into product requirements, and implementing them when needed.
This role is in-person, and based in SF/Bay Area or NYC.
In this role, you will:
- Work across the entire technical stack including: Mobile & Web SDKs, Portal Page, and more
- Think holistically about Para’s end to end developer experience and understand + prioritize and scope out ways to address gaps.
- Continually stay up to date with new developments in crypto infrastructure area and ensure that Para is compatible with all major development frameworks that are relevant
- Think about both the developer and end user perspectives and find elegant solutions to problems
- Operate from first principles: Para is building a product that is unlike any in the market today
- Iterate and refine the product with the team and customers to build a best-in-class user experience
- Initially be the owner for end-to-end developer experience matters. As the team grows, this role could evolve into an engineering, developer relations, or product role based on the team’s needs and strengths of the individual
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in engineering + background in developer relations and/or product
- Familiarity working with frameworks including React, Typescript, NodeJS, and React Native
- Excellent communication skills in both an internal and customer-facing context
- Proven ability to write clear, comprehensive technical documentation and guides that enable developers to integrate and use products effectively
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts in accessible ways across multiple channels i.e. docs, code examples, API references, and customer-facing materials
- Strong experience with development practices in the crypto space
- Experience independently delivering large initiatives end-to-end, from idea to live and adding value
- A desire to work at a very early stage startup (and understanding of the upsides as well as responsibilities that come with a role of this nature)
- Strong problem solving skills and familiarity with technical, design, security, and regulatory constraints in the key management space
